Fodor's Expert Review Botanischer Garten

Outside Innenstadt Garden/Arboretum

On the northern edge of Schloss Nymphenburg, this collection of some 16,000 plants, including orchids, cacti, cycads, alpine flowers, and rhododendrons, makes up one of the most extensive botanical gardens in Europe. It is also used to provide a refuge for bee species, and for scientific research by local university students.
