Fodor's Expert Review Rue Meynadier
You may not notice the pretty 18th-century houses that once formed the main street of Cannes, so distracting are the boutiques they now contain. Here inexpensive and trendy clothes alternate with rarified food and wine shops, and some of the best butchers in town. Don't miss the chic patisserie, L'Atelier Jean-Luc Pelé, at No. 36, whose delicate macaroons come in flavors such as lime-chocolate, Menton lemon, and foie gras–onion confit, and whose ganache-filled chocolates are sublime. At one end of Rue Meynadier is Rue d'Antibes, Cannes's main high-end shopping street.
