Fodor's Review

If you're tired of choosing from complicated menus, visit this long-popular restaurant in Le Suquet, where the only thing you'll have to decide is what kind of meat you want off the grill. Every dinner starts with a gigantic basket of whole raw vegetables, to be cut up and dipped in a selection of sauces and grilled bread. Then come the generous servings of beef, lamb, or chicken from the restaurant's charcoal grill menu (€49). (There's also a meat-free menu for the same price, so problem solved.) With a low, wood-beam ceiling and only a few tables (draped in pink), Le Maschou (meaning "small pretty house") is best visited in winter, but it's also a favorite during the Cannes film festival.
