This small contemporary bistro in central Arles provides friendly service and innovative, affordable cuisine with modern leanings. The menu changes frequently, depending on what's available in the market, but sumptuous dishes that are typical of this inventive chef's repertoire include fillet of cod with golden turnips, pumpkin puree, and wild mushrooms sprinkled with fresh chervil; and creamy risotto with beef bouillon and cheese crisps sprinkled with hazelnuts. On warm days, the terrace out front is a delightful place to while away an afternoon over a bottle of regional rosé and a good-value gourmet lunch.
