Fodor's Expert Review L'Amphitryon
For years now, this restaurant has led the pack of soigné and refined cuisine moderne spots in Aix. With chef Bruno Ungaro at the helm, elegant, seasonal menus triumph yet so does utter, utter deliciousness. You may have to go way back in your memory-book to remember such memorably raffiné and scrumptious creations: portobello mushrooms are given a newer-than-now nouvelle spin stuffed with king crab and clove cream, salmon is a dazzling fusion of Provence and Asia, and desserts are colorful confections that are pretty-as-a-picture.
