Why We Like It

This hotel is chic down to its bones, and what it lacks in space, it makes up for in sheer style and convenience. It's an excellent place to stay if you're into fashion and art--Rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré is one of Paris's centers for galleries and shopping. Between the Faubourg Saint-Honor, and its continuation the rue Saint-Honoré, plus the nearby the Golden Triangle, you've got pretty much every high-end designer covered.

Fodor's Expert Review

Newly opened in late 2016, this tidy little boutique hotel sets a new benchmark in streamlined chic. Popular with the design crowd, its location near the Champs-Elysées is a plus, though that may be why it's a bit on the pricey side for a hotel with few amenities.

You Should Know Prices on the hotel site were significantly higher than online prices at the time of this writing.

Room

Ingeniously laid out to make tiny rooms navigable, with spare, contemporary furnishings for a streamlined no-frills feel. It's worth splurging for a terrace room for the extra space and a delightful sitting area in warm weather overlooking a small courtyard.

Bathroom

Small baths are spotless and up-to-date, but lacking in counter space.

You Should Know Couples beware, windows in baths limit privacy. Hope you're not shy!

Lobby

A nondescript reception area opens up into a small but chic lounge with a faux library and edgy contemporary artworks. There's also a resident art gallery, in keeping with the neighborhood, with rotating contemporary art shows.

Dining

A quality continental breakfast is served in a soaring skylit room next to the lounge and courtyard with a long common table and high stools. In warm weather, the courtyard is a great place for breakfast or a coffee.

You Should Know Except for the pricy clubs near the Champs-Elysées, this area tends to be quiet at night, but the hotel's built-in social scene ameliorates the need to head to other quarters if you prefer to stay close to home.

Drinking

At night the breakfast area is transformed into Anouk, a clubby cocktail bar with a private entrance, serving good bar snacks and yummy craft cocktails designed by a Paris drinks aficionado, along with a selection of wines and "curated" spirits.

Tip Cocktails are a decent price for this neighborhood.

What's Nearby

Getting Around

Five minutes away, metro station Champs-Élysées-Clémenceau is serviced by line no. 1, Paris’s fastest and most central line. You're also close to line 9, at the Miromesnil station, which takes you directly to the Eiffel Tower. Set on a quiet street just off the Faubourge Saint-Honoré, one of the great Paris shopping streets, and around the corner from the Elysées Palace, the residence of the French president (read: security). This is a quiet, elegant neighborhood with plenty to see and do within easy walking distance, including many of Paris's big museums, two of its best shopping districts and plenty of dining options.

Restaurants

If you're up for a splurge—something almost obligatory in this neighborhood—head to Le Clarence for a food and wine experience you won't soon forget. With only 35 covers, Le Grand Restaurant is one of the city's most sought-after tables.

Bars

Elegant hotel bars—Le Bar du Bristol, La Réserve, George V, Prince des Galles—abound, but the dusky speakeasy Blaine is a chic alternative.
