Fodor's Expert Review Café de Paris
An old-fashioned seaside brasserie specializing in the catch of the day, the Café de Paris, set right on the harbor, is as authentic as it gets. Shellfish platters overflowing with oysters, shrimp, bulots (sea snails), lobster, or crab can be sized for starters or a main course, or, for something a bit more classic, dishes like roasted trout in a white wine sauce or fillet of sole with roasted almonds are fresh and tasty. There are plenty of classic meat dishes too (lamb chops and roasted pigeon, for example), all served alongside fresh, beautifully presented vegetables. The upstairs dining room offers great views of the harbor boats coming in with the day's catch.
