Fodor's Expert Review Le Millénaire
Appearances deceive at this traditional town house just off Place Royale, a few feet from the cathedral. Inside, it has an updated Art Deco feel with plush beige carpets and sleek, chic chairs. Chef Laurent Laplaige finds an outlet for his decorative artistry with colorful food presented on elegant white plates. The stunning specialties range from roast lobster served with courgette-stuffed ravioli in a pepper sauce, to fillet of beef accompanied by a foie gras sauce. Dessert dazzlers include a chocolate sphere filled with chocolate cream and orange compote.
