Bath Place Hotel

4–5 Bath Pl., Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX1 3SI, England

Fodor’s Expert Review

Down a cobbled alleyway off Holywell Street, these 17th-century weavers' cottages have been converted into a small hotel. A number of rooms have four-poster beds; nearly all have slanting floors and exposed beams, and the building's age means that all are considerably smaller than modern hotel rooms. Some have their own entrances, and others are in the main building. There's only a breakfast room, but the adjacent Turf Tavern serves ale and bar food.
