Fodor's Expert Review Simply Heathcote's
England
Modern British
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
This chic contemporary restaurant, an outpost of chef Paul Heathcote's empire, has a curved glass front, cherry furnishings, and a granite floor. The menu has a local accent—lamb hot pot with pickled red cabbage, braised ox cheek (from the face) with horseradish foam, and bread-and-butter pudding—along with dishes from warmer climes. Vegetarians are well served, too. The restaurant is opposite the Royal Liver and Cunard buildings.
