Fodor's Review

Named after an infamous Georgian-era courtesan, Kitty Fisher's is situated in a classy, dark, and creaky 18th century townhouse in Mayfair’s Dickensian Shepherd Market. Come and let it seduce you with some of the finest modern wood grill and smokehouse fare around. The famous grilled 12-year-old Galician milk-cow sirloin is a singed and seared yet pink and oozing carved column of meat, accompanied by a heap of grilled onions, pickled walnuts, and barbecued Pink Fir potatoes with soft white Tunworth cheese. Look for the steak tartare with nasturtium or charred lamb cutlets with mint and parsley. It’s a tiny space, with only 40 seats, and filled with vintage 18th-century prints, paintings and antique silver candelabras.
