Why We Like It
Not so distant from the West End that its inconvenient, and in a neighbourhood packed with local charm and real Londoners, the London Bridge Hotel is a boutique property that appeals to a broad clientele. We love the close proximity to historic pubs, markets and quaint city streets, and its ease of access to the businesses in the City.
An attractive four-star boutique hotel close to Borough Market, Shakespeare’s Globe and Tower Bridge, the London Bridge Hotel is a great reason for guests to base themselves in an area of the city thriving with cosmopolitan action. Equally apt for business and pleasure, the hotel’s levels of service inspire a loyal following.
YOU SHOULD KNOW The location can be extremely busy during the morning and afternoon rush hour when it seems like the whole of London is rushing through London Bridge to get to where they’re going.
room
Smart rooms are decorated in neutral colors with the odd nod to London by way of framed pictures on the walls. Irons and ironing boards in rooms are a godsend for business travellers with creases to deal with.
Standard rooms aren’t the biggest so we suggest you pay more if you value a little more floor space.
bathroom
Simple bathrooms are clean—if a little cramped—and come with a shower and bath tub.
lobby
A stylish space to spend some time, the lobby is peppered with sleek couches, chic armchairs and modern art so don’t be afraid to pull up a pew and take a load off.
gym
There is no gym on the premises but guests are offered complimentary access to a local gym close by.
dining
White tablecloths, neutral panelled walls and hardwood floors provide a classic setting for the basement restaurant, which serves a range of gastro style favorites.

LOCATION
Getting Around
The recently developed London Bridge Station is a huge transport hub great for ease of access to both national travel and Tube lines. Just across the river from the City and close to the Shard, business travellers will find themselves in a convenient part of town. For pleasure, the area’s charming old streets are rife for exploring once you navigate the rush hour foot traffic, with walks to Borough and the South Bank recommended.
Restaurants
Eat simple, glorious pasta at Italian restaurant Padella (3-minute walk)—just be prepared to queue. It may be a chain, but the Borough branch of Brindisa (2-minute walk) is still the best and well worth making a special effort to visit for its gourmet tapas.
