Fodor's Expert Review Hotel Continental

The Continental aims for a turn-of-the-20th-century feel, and for the most part, it succeeds—antique mirrors and armoires make for historic but comfortable surroundings. Some of the rooms are named for famous people that stayed at the hotel, such as actor Gérard Depardieu, who was there in 2000, and Jack Benny, who stayed while visiting U.S. troops at the end of World War II.
