Southern Dalmatia is served by Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) at Čilipi, 18 km (11 miles) southeast of the city.

The national carrier, Croatia Airlines, operates internal flights between Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Pula, and Osijek. Through summer, it also flies regularly between Dubrovnik and Athens, Amsterdam, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Rome, Venice, and Zurich. British Airways operates flights year-round between Dubrovnik and London. It is also possible to fly direct to Rome, Barcelona, Istanbul, and Frankfurt through the winter. Many other airlines offer seasonal or charter service to Dubrovnik from destinations all around Europe and the U.K.; check Sky Scanner for your best options.

Atlas organizes an airport shuttle bus, which leaves on the half hour between 4:30 am and 9 pm and also meets all incoming flights. It picks up from the main bus station in Dubrovnik and the bus stop near the cable car, and drops off at the main bus station and the Pile Gate. A one-way ticket costs 40 Kn and can be purchased from the driver. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes.
