Korčula Notable Building

A couple of blocks east of the main square is the place where the legendary 13th-century explorer is said to have been born, when Korčula was part of the Venetian Empire. The house itself is nearly in ruins but the tower next door is open, with a very modest exhibit about Polo's life on the first floor and a belvedere up top offering panoramic views.
