Kod Ruže seems to have all the trappings you'd expect from a typical Slavonian restaurant but with a modern touch; heavy furniture, faded old photos, and embroidered hand towels—all very antique chic. The menu gives traditional dishes a creative bent: river fish on skewers and uniquely flavored stews. On weekends, it's all accompanied by a live Roma band; more fun than you ever thought you could have while wearing a fish paprikaš bib.
