Bus

There are domestic connections all over mainland Croatia to and from Pula, Poreč, Labin, and Rovinj, and local services between these towns and smaller inland destinations such as Motovun and Vodnjan. International buses offer daily connections to Italy (Trieste) and Slovenia (Ljubljana, Koper, Piran, and Portorož). Bus stations in Pula, Rovinj, Labin, and Poreč, are run by one bus company, Autotrans. Additionally in summer, Flixbus, a Germany-based company offering low-cost bus travel throughout Europe, connects Istrian coastal towns with Germany (Munich), Italy (Venice, Padua, Brescia, Milano), and Austria (Villach, Vienna, Graz). Timetables are available at all bus stations. However, as elsewhere in Croatia, the sheer number of different companies offering bus service out of each station can be confusing; it's best to confirm at the information window what you might find posted on the wall.
