Fodor's Expert Review Adriatic Oyster and Sushi Bar
Croatians are not known for being big sushi lovers, but this sushi bar, with its fresh seafood and simple dishes, is winning people over. Eighty percent of the menu comes directly from the Adriatic ocean and as much as possible of everything else is sourced within a 50-km (30-mile) radius of the premises, from the yellowfin tuna to the award-winning Paški sir (sheep's cheese) and Dalmatian prosciutto. Located in the get (from the word ghetto, a term locals use to refer to the location inside the palace walls), you may have to turn a few corners to find it, but it is worth the hunt. The atmosphere is relaxed and the wine menu has been well researched for sushi pairings.
