This new bistro/patisserie is quickly becoming known around town as "the bread place." Each morning, the bread is baked fresh—kneaded by hand—using what the owners call an ancient recipe with only organic ingredients. All of their breads are whole grain, and include varieties such as honey lavender, sourdough walnut, and sourdough pumpkin seed. The ambience is like pristine factory meets Old Europe: A floor of Styrian stone with chandeliers dangling from the ceiling, alongside sleek, modern baking ovens.
A must-try for meat lovers is the burger, using fresh lamb meat on a sourdough poppy bun, which comes with a sidedish of fat toasted bread fingers.
