Fodor's Expert Review The Regent Grand Resort
Regent St., Grace Bay, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands
The name says it all, this resort is simply grand. Even bigger and more luxurious than its sister property, Villa Renaissance, the Regent Grand is centered on a palm-fringed piazza courtyard and mosaic clover-shape infinity pool. Guests here will find it their own slice of heaven. Located in the heart of Grace Bay, the Regent Grand prides itself on its customer service. Arched entryways, shady trellises, and uplighted facades all bring a distinct sense of elegance. The luxurious accommodations, from studios to three-bedroom suites, are colorful and comfortable, with colonial-style furnishings; all have huge patios or balconies facing Grace Bay Beach or the beautiful pool and gardens. On-site amenities include a Nautilus gym and the wonderful Teona Spa. Children will enjoy their time at the Surfside Kids Academy, making the resort a popular one with families. Although there is no restaurant on-site, it's an easy walk to numerous restaurants and shops in the Regent Village (on the resort property, but not at the Regent Grand itself), as well as Saltmills shopping center. Regent Grand guests have golf privileges at the Provo Golf Course, where greens fees are either discounted or included in the rate. You can explore the island by bicycle, complimentary through the resort’s concierge desk.
