Fodor's Expert Review Dragon Cay Resort
Mudjin Harbour, Middle Caicos, TKCA 1ZZ, Turks and Caicos Islands Fodor's Choice
At this property, dramatic cliffs skirt one of the most beautiful beaches in the Turks and Caicos, while turquoise-roofed cottages dot the hillside, all with outstanding views of the coastline and reef beyond. The small, self-contained open-plan cottages—perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary stay—have all been updated, keeping the island feel with soft blues and greens to meld with the beauty of the outdoors. All accommodations have screened-in porches and careful positioning to ensure that all have unobstructed views out to sea and take advantage of ocean breezes. Although it's secluded, it doesn't lack amenities. The concierge can arrange everything, including groceries, excursions to East Caicos and Joe Grants Cay, kayaks, snorkeling trips, and bonefishing. In the restaurant, floor-to-ceiling windows give the most amazing views—perhaps the best of all of the islands. Be sure to plan well in advance, as the resort books up fast.
