Fodor's Expert Review Sonesta Ocean Point

The roomy suites in this sophisticated, luxurious enclave are some of the very best accommodations on the island. Beautifully set above the ocean, the full-service private restaurants and rooftop bar with endless views are divine for sunset cocktails and are exclusively for Ocean Point guests, and they're included in the limitless all-inclusive plan. Guests here can also dine at the adjacent Sonesta Maho restaurants but not vice-versa. Larger suites have modern kitchenettes. There are three lovely swimming pools. One snakes around the front of the property giving guests on the first floor swim-up access to their butler-serviced suites. The second pool has an infinity edge and an artificial beach, while the third has bar service. The rooms are stocked with free soft drinks, wine, and liquors. Guests must be over 18. If you like to watch the planes land, this is a terrific vantage point, but they can be noisy during take-off.
