Fodor's Expert Review The Kitchen
This stunner in the so-called great house—the soaring stone-steel-and-wood space of Belle Mont Farm at Kittitian Hill—is the ultimate in farm-to-table cuisine. The Kitchen offers a series of sustainable seasonal treats, sourced mostly from the farm itself and other local suppliers who practice ethical farming, fishing, and animal husbandry. Begin your evening with handcrafted ultra-fresh cocktails in the Mill Bar, in a handsome faux sugar mill. Then repair to the main dining room or terrace overlooking the Caribbean to savor the multicourse repast. Executive Chef Christophe Letard’s parade of dishes tease and titillate the taste buds, with daring counterpoints of color, flavor, and texture. Desserts can be sublime. Champagne Sunday brunch is already an island mover-and-shaker tradition. The all-organic wine list was curated by Isabelle Legeron, MW, France’s only female master of wine, who cofounded London’s RAW Natural Wine Fair.
