This lush, tropical courtyard restaurant replete with tinkling fountain was hand-built by the original owners. Banana trees, bougainvillea, and bamboo—filled with a virtual orchestra of chirping tree frogs—grow everywhere. Selections depend on what's fresh and on chef Michelle Mestier's mood: most popular are the barbecue ribs and specials such as herb-crusted rack of lamb or creamy seafood pasta. Lunch items are well priced and include fine niçoise salad, coconut-fried shrimp, and mango-chicken curry crepe. Tapas are also on tap some evenings, as are Thai and Mexican theme nights. Homemade desserts are not for the calorie- and cholesterol-conscious. It's best for snacks, and a pleasant spot for Wi-Fi.
