Air Travel

The only way to get to Statia from St. Maarten is on one of the five daily Winair flights, all timed to coincide with the arrival of international flights. The flight takes 18 minutes. You'll have to book directly with Winair, by phone or online. Prices are $150–$200. Reconfirm your flight, because schedules can change abruptly. The departure fee from the island is $15. If flying out of St. Maarten, check to see if the international departure fee has already been added into your airline ticket. Additionally, Trans Anguilla Airways services Statia from Anguilla, Nevis, and St. Kitts for about $120 each way. There is no regularly scheduled ferry service.
