Dawn II. This 50-person, 65-foot aluminum vessel runs on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday between Philipsburg and Fort Bay. It leaves Saba at 7 am, arriving at St. Maarten at 8:30, and departs St. Maarten at 4:30 pm, arriving at Fort Bay at 6. The round-trip fare is $100 if purchased in advance. The one-way fare from St. Maarten to Saba is $58 plus a $7 harbor fee; the opposite direction is $55 plus a $10 harbor fee. A same-day round-trip is $78 plus a $17 harbor fee. The Edge. This high-speed ferry leaves St. Maarten's Pelican Marina in Simpson Bay for Fort Bay on Saba every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 9 am (check in an hour before) and leaves Saba at 3:30 pm (check-in at 3). The journey, which can be rough, takes an hour and 20 minutes. A day-trip costs $80 per person plus a $15 port fee, and a round-trip (overnight stay) costs $110 plus $17 port fee.
