Air Flamenco. Air Flamenco flies daily from San Juan's Isla Grande Airport to Vieques and Culebra, and offers scheduled flights and charters to both islands from San Juan International Airport (SJU). Taxi Aereo. Taxi Aereo is essentially an air taxi service. Missed your flight to Culebra or Vieques? Don't want to be limited by Air Flamenco's or Vieques Air Link's schedules? As long as you have a minimum of three passengers, you can walk into Ceiba airport and request on-the-spot service for $180 (up to three passengers, one-way; add a $100 surcharge for night-time flights). The service is also available out of San Juan's Isla Grande Airport, but is considerably more expensive. Vieques Air Link. Vieques Air Link flies daily from San Juan's Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and its Isla Grande Airport, as well asCeiba's municipal airport to Vieques and Culebra. Charters are also available. 888/901–9247; www.viequesairlink.com.
Vieques Air Link also flies from Ceiba. Flights from San Juan are 20 to 30 minutes, and one-way fares are between $75 and $135; flights from Ceiba are about 10 minutes, with one-way fares between $36 and $46. Small propeller planes that hold up to nine passengers are used.
Most international travelers fly from San Juan's Aeropuerto Internacional Luis Muñoz Marín (SJU) or nearby Aeropuerto Fernando L. Rivas Dominicci (SIG; more commonly known as Aeropuerto Isla Grande), which is cheaper. Vieques Air Link also flies from Ceiba's Aeropuerto José Aponte de la Torre (RVR) about 8 miles (12 km) south of Fajardo.
