Though it sustained some damage during Hurrican Irene, this butter-yellow guesthouse sits on a hilltop and has stunning views of the ocean in the distance. If you want to go to the beaches in or around Esperanza and Isabel Segunda, they are within a few minutes' drive. The large rooms have balconies that overlook lovely gardens. Veritas ($$$), housed on a second-floor terrace, is one of the newer restaurants on Vieques, while this year the less expensive El Jardin will serve pizza on the patio. The hotel is on Route 201, between Isabel Segunda and Esperanza.
