The glass elevators that whisk you up to your room overlook the plant-filled atrium, which includes a pond and waterfall. Outside is a lagoon-style pool and an adjacent bar. The suites are not luxurious, but they are spacious enough for a family. The location—1 mile (1½ km) from the airport—makes the hotel popular with business travelers. The one drawback is that while the beach is nearby, you have to cross some busy streets to get to it.
