Aguadilla is a convenient gateway to western Puerto Rico, thanks to several daily international flights. United Airlines flies from Newark to Aguadilla, Spirit flies from Fort Lauderdale, and JetBlue has daily service from Orlando or New York–JFK to Aguadilla. Cape Air flies between San Juan and Mayagüez.
Transfers: There are no airport shuttles in either Aguadilla or Mayagüez. A taxi from either airport into town is about $10, but if you are going any farther, you should rent a car.

Aeropuerto Eugenio María de Hostos. Aeropuerto Eugenio María de Hostos (MAZ) is a small public use airport, located 3½ miles (5½ km) north of the central business district of Mayagüez. They offer daily flights to and from San Juan, as well as other regional flights. There's little inside besides the car-rental counters and an ATM machine.
