While in El Yunque, buy a recording of the tree frog's song, a video about the endangered green parrot, or a coffee-table book about the rain forest at the large gift shop in El Portal Visitor Center. Tucked among the rain-forest gifts are other Puerto Rican items, including note cards, maps, soaps, jams, and coffee.
This is the only gift shop in El Yunque that accepts credit cards.
