Fodor's Expert Review Trident Hotel

What was once a stiff, formal, and traditional hotel has been remade into a stylish contemporary resort, part of the Geejam collection. Details include rooms decorated with commissioned artwork and furnishings designed and made especially for the hotel. A farm and nursery down the road provides plants for the beautifully landscaped property. Music at the on-site dinner club is either jazz provided by a house band or live mento music (a local Jamaican style) from the famous Jolly Boys. All rooms are fully appointed and provide ocean views and privacy.
