Guided Tours

Guided tours offer the historical sights of St. George's, Grand Étang National Park & Forest Reserve, spice plantations and nutmeg-processing stations, rain-forest hikes and treks to waterfalls, snorkeling trips to local islands, and day trips to Carriacou. A full-day sightseeing tour costs $70 to $90 per person, usually including lunch and admissions; a half-day tour, $45 to $60; a guided hike to Concord or Mt. Qua Qua, $55 to $60 per person. Grenada taxi drivers will conduct island sightseeing tours for $150 per day or $25 to $35 per hour for up to four people. Carriacou minibus drivers will take up to four people on a full-island tour for $75 (2½ hours) or a half-island tour for $40 (1½ hours).

Adventure Jeep Tour. On a full-day Adventure Jeep Tour you ride in the back of a Land Rover, safari fashion, along scenic coastal roads, trek in the rain forest, have lunch at a plantation, take a swim or two, and skirt the capital. The company also combines the full-day jeep tour ($95 per person, hotel pickup included) with river tubing (add $45 per person) and offers guided bike tours ($15 an hour).
