It's easy to be charmed by this boutique hotel, which is on 22 acres along the black sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean and overlooks the Rosalie River. The rooms are spacious and inviting. Add to that an onyx-lined saltwater pool, a well-equipped gym, cooking classes, daily yoga, and nature hikes, and you have a true getaway. Oscar's Pool Bar and Zamaan Restaurant serve excellent healthy cuisine, and the resort's spa, Gló Spa, offers "farm-to-spa-table" therapies. The resort prides itself on its Green Globe Certification and the founding of Dominica's first sea turtle conservation program (turtle nesting is March to October).
