Fodor's Expert Review Museo Tula
Landhouse Kenepa was an ancient plantation house that became the site of the slavery revolt led by Tula in 1795. (In 2013, an English feature movie was made about Tula and the revolt.) Today the house has been restored to become the Tula Museum, dedicated to the life and times of Dutch colonial days before and leading up to the revolt. It rotates many cultural exhibits. They also have nature-walking tours of the area, a restaurant in a restored cottage offering local dishes, and a souvenir shop with local crafts.
