Fodor's Expert Review Paradero La Silla

About 10 km (6 mi) south of Cayo Coco, on a tiny islet along which the causeway passes, is Paradero La Silla —a rustic snack bar that's as good a place to bird-watch as it is to wet your whistle. The wooden tower next to it overlooks shallows where flamingos, herons, and other leggy waders regularly hunt for their dinner. Cold drinks and light meals are served under a thatched roof.
