This brightly painted restaurant is perched on a wooden dock over the southwestern side of the harbor. The Bahamian food menu is simple, but everything is delicious. Be sure to order some conch fritters to start—they're some of the best you'll find. They also have a delicious brunch on Saturday, complete with bottomless mimosas or pitchers of freshly made sangria or mojitos. Specialty nights draw a crowd—there's karaoke on Tuesday evening. Wednesday Hump Day, you can enjoy all-day happy-hour specials on wings, conch fritters, and margaritas.

This is Marsh Harbour's most popular restaurant—the place to go for good food, potent rum cocktails, and serious people-watching. Lunch is a scene, especially if you sit outside, where you'll find a mix of locals, tourists, and boaters enjoying Greek or Caesar salads, spicy grouper, and mahimahi burgers. Inside there's a stylish bar where you can enjoy cocktails or a meal, a small boutique, and three dining rooms, all adorned with Haitian paintings. Dinner is served every night except Sunday and the menu includes creamy curried shrimp, mahimahi Provençal, or a filet mignon smothered in a mushroom sauce, as well as a daily sashimi. An open-air deck makes Mangoes a great place for waterside dining. Enjoy a traditional Bahamian breakfast; feast on cracked conch and zesty salads at lunch; and at dinner, try house specialties like smudder grouper, fried and seasoned with tomato, thyme, and pepper sauce; grilled rack of lamb; or the catch of the day grilled, fried, or blackened. If it's wahoo, order it grilled with lots of extra lime. The restaurant is housed in a complex that contains a boutique selling resort wear and fine jewelry from around the world, and a 29-slip marina—which means you can sail in from the offshore cays, tie up in front, enjoy a meal, and do some shopping. If you're looking for a simple but tasty lunch at a great price, check out this octagonal wooden takeout-only restaurant on the western end of Bay Street. The burgers are hand-formed and served up on homemade buns—the spicy bacon cheeseburger is a local favorite. Grab a box of their fried chicken if you're headed out in the boat for a day of exploring, and on a hot day, their homemade ice cream in an array of tropical flavors including coconut, guava, pineapple, and mango is delicious and refreshing. The only seating is on a handful of park benches nearby.
