Fodor's Expert Review Delphi Club

Fodor's Choice

Although Delphi Club is billed as a bonefishing lodge, it's a great middle-of-nowhere bed-and-breakfast perfect for anyone looking to get away from it all but not willing to give up style or comfort. The plantation-style lodge boasts a grand great room, where guests gather for multicourse meals at a long wooden table that seats 24 and then retire to one of the comfy couches, the library (where the only television on-property is hardly ever turned on), or on a chair on the wide wraparound balcony that offers incredible ocean views. Days are filled with bonefishing or deep-sea fishing for the anglers, birdwatching or lounging poolside or on the long private white-sand beach below. A club car is available for nonfishing guests to go exploring the island. All-inclusive rates do not include alcohol, and packages are available for fishing and room only. Nonguests can join the group for dinners if space is available. Dinner reservations are essential and must be made before noon that day.
