Fodor's Expert Review Malmok Beach
On the northwestern shore, this small, nondescript beach borders shallow waters that stretch 300 yards from shore. There are no snack or refreshment stands, but that might change soon with the addition of a new boardwalk leading from Fisherman’s Huts beach (part of the Linear Park project) that is now attracting cyclists, strollers, and runners. Most of the main snorkel boat tours stop here for a dip as well as for its incredible sunsets. There is no easy access into the water from the shore; it's very rocky with sharp cliffs and steep descents. Snorkeling is best done from a boat. Amenities: none. Best for: solitude; snorkeling; sunsets.
