Fodor's Review

Named for owner Michael Seresin, a New Zealand filmmaker, this estate is known for its meticulous viticulture and subtle wine-making techniques, producing hand-grown, handpicked, and handmade wine. It's tricky to find—look out for the big stacked rocks on the edge of the river terrace. This vineyard is a pioneer in implementing high environmental standards, using both biodynamic and organic production methods. Seresin also produces a Tuscan-style, biodynamic olive oil and three citrus oils—lemon, lime, and orange. During vintage time guests can taste the handpicked grapes and fresh grape juice, and see the wine-making process firsthand.
