At this restaurant overlooking Kororareka Bay from the Bay of Islands Swordfish Club building, Sally's seafood chowder, packed with fresh mussels, shrimp, and fish, is the most popular dish—despite numerous requests, the chef refuses to divulge the recipe. The Orongo Bay oysters (if available) are served three ways, and there's always the fish of the day and related seasonal produce. It gets very busy during the summer break.
