Fodor's Expert Review Swanbourne
While lovely, Swanbourne tends to keep a lower profile within Perth's beach scene, largely due to its nudist-friendly stretch dominated by men. The southern end is popular thanks to the aptly named ocean-facing café, The Naked Fig, which serves breakfasts and light meals and is family friendly; there's a playground nearby. The sand is soft and the surf rises somewhat along this section, with parts favored by body boarders. It's just north of Cottesloe and is about 20 minutes from Perth's City Center. Amenities: food and drink; parking (limited); showers; toilets. Best for: nudists; sunset.
