Fodor's Expert Review Cohunu Koala Park

Perth Amusement Park/Water Park

The main lure at this 30-acre property is the joy of cuddling a koala (for an additional A$25 fee). But the other native animals, such as emus, dingoes, wallabies, kangaroos, and wombats are worth visiting, too. Remember that Cohunu (pronounced co-hu-na) is an attraction park, rather than a natural habitat, and some wildlife are caged. A miniature steam railway (A$4 per ride) operates mostly on weekends and school and public holidays.
