Fodor's Review

Like bees swarming a hive, once the clock hits 5 pm, punters flood Perth's CBD's main thoroughfare, St. Georges Terrace, and its strip of hip new venues. The nebulous is at Brookfield Place, where the swanky Print Hall development hugs the huge new BHP tower. Print Hall is credited with dishing up some of the city's best modern Australian fare, while Bob's Bar is a happening rooftop venue focusing on simple, tasty, Mexican-inspired eats. In between the two is The Apple Daily, which focuses on Asian street food and more refined fare. At the toes of the BHP tower are some serious contenders in Bar Lafayette, a boho cocktail bar; The Trustee, a classy wine bar and restaurant; and Sushia, a Japanese restaurant with ocean-fresh food prepared in the huge open kitchen. During the day there's a bakery, café, burger bar, and food hall (hidden behind the BHP tower) serving plenty of lunch options.
