Fodor's Expert Review Fraser Suites Perth
10 Adelaide Terr., Perth, Western Australia, Australia
This flashy, executive-style hotel impresses guests with its good value, modern design, corporate standards, and the fact that every room is a self-contained suite. The Singaporean-owned, multimillion-dollar development provides handy access to both Perth’s skyscrapers and its airport. Sleek lines and modern interiors, particularly the arresting glass stairway in the lobby, give it a polished atmosphere. Though it’s clearly courting the corporate customer, there are subtle nods to Average Joe, with six free bikes available (after you sign a multi-page disclaimer), and a free inner-city bus stop across the road. Inside the suites, color themes stick to a black, gray, silver, and white combo, with fawn tones making up the balance. The menu at the hotel’s Heirloom Restaurant ($$) is in the hands of Aussie celebrity chef and paleo-diet fan, Pete Evans, and is accordingly organic and seasonal in focus.
