Fodor's Expert Review Whitsunday Apartments
14 Resort Dr., Hamilton Island, Queensland, 4803, Australia
The one-bedroom apartments in these 13-story twin towers overlooking Catseye Beach may not be the island's most luxurious, but they are centrally located and suitable for those who don't mind self-catering. The apartments have comfy wood-and-cane furniture, full kitchens and laundry facilities, minibars, and dining and lounge areas equipped with flat-screen TVs. Those on the seventh floor and above have contemporary decor and guaranteed ocean views; and there's a pool in the complex. Kids under 12 stay for free and guests get free access to the resort's paddle-skis, cats, windsurfers, and snorkeling gear; those in pricier apartments also can use a four-seater buggy during their stay.
PROS
