Boat and Ferry Travel

Speedy CityCat boats and City Ferries dock at 25 points along the Brisbane River from Hamilton to St. Lucia, running every 15 minutes or more for most of the day (the last service is at 11:45 pm). The ferries are terrific for a quick survey of the Brisbane waterfront, from the city skyline to luxury homes and beautiful parkland. If you're staying within the CBD and South Bank, try the free CityHopper ferry, which runs every 30 minutes between 6 am and midnight every day.
