Freedomland

Phu Quoc, Binh Thuan, Vietnam

Fodor’s Expert Review

Guests rave about the eco-friendly Freedomland experience, with its communal dining, rustic bungalows, jungle setting, and superchilled vibe. The eco-resort is run by Canadian-Vietnamese Peter, who oversees the kitchen, and by his Portuguese wife Rita. The stone-and-wood bungalows are comfortable, with simple pine four-poster beds and huge outdoor bathrooms, but a Freedomland stay revolves around the communal lounge and dining area and the meditation and yoga platform.
