Fodor's Expert Review Prime
Bangkok's best steak house is a winner in multiple categories: design, views, and cocktails, but most of all cuisine. It all begins with the groundbreaking interior architecture, which skillfully incorporates the sweeping river and city views and the restaurant's open kitchen while still managing to feel intimate—an almost alchemical feat. Start with one of the signature martinis before moving on to the Caesar salad, prepared table-side, and perhaps a magnificent shellfish platter with fresh, briny oysters and lobster tails. Then there is the meat: whether it's Wagyu beef flown in from Australia or USDA Prime, no expense is spared in the kitchen (or on the bill). The grilling is done over an extremely hot open flame. The wine list is one of the best in the city, but everything is very expensive.
