Fodor's Review

Choose between tables on the terrace or in the dining rooms of this small house near the river. Inside, Thai antiques, chests scattered with bric-a-brac, and bouquets that seem to tumble out of their vases create relaxing clutter, as though you're dining at a relative's house. The staff is very good at helping indecisive diners choose from the brief menu. The massaman (peanut sauce–based curry) pork spareribs, the mild crab curry, and the deep-fried fish with lemongrass are all excellent. Chu-chee (coconut-curry) prawns or larb moo (spicy pork salad) are slightly more interesting dishes, as is the hoa mouk—fish curry in a banana leaf. Over the years the crowd has become more touristy, but there are still Thais who eat here regularly.
